Here we have a Stevens Model 520-30 U.S. Military Trench Shotgun in very attractive collector condition. This shotgun retains its U.S. military markings and is equipped with the correct trench gun heat shield and bayonet adapter. Included is an original Remington-made M1913 bayonet dated 9-17.The metal retains an attractive military-style finish with honest handling wear consistent with age. Wood remains solid and serviceable with no major cracks noted. The action functions smoothly and the overall appearance is that of a well-preserved military shotgun.
Features: Stevens Model 520-30, U.S. military marked receiver, Military proof marks present, Correct trench gun heat shield and bayonet adapter, M1917 bayonet included, Bayonet dated 9-17, Walnut stock and forearm, Sling attached, Serial number: 49701. Metal retains a pleasing military finish with normal handling marks and age-related wear. Wood remains solid with scattered field marks from years of service and storage. The stock is believed to be a replacement, though it fits well and presents nicely. The shotgun remains mechanically sound with a strong action and bright bore.
