Original Antique war of 1812 era US model 1795 Springfield musket formerly flintlock converted to percussion. The 44.5 inch barrel is 69 caliber. The dark walnut walnut 3 band stock shows much use with dents, chips and cracks. The but stock appears to have been altered in the past. The functioning lock is marked US Springfield 1811. The but plate Is also dated 1811. All metal parts have a smooth brown patina with scattered pitting. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
