The Remington Versa Max Tactical is a highly reliable, 12ga gas-operated utility shotgun engineered for home defense, tactical duty, and competitive 3-Gun shooting. It utilizes the innovative Versaport gas system, which self-regulates cycling pressure based on the length of the chambered shell—allowing the shooter to seamlessly mix everything from 2¾\" target loads up to 3\" magnum rounds while drastically reducing felt recoil to that of a 20-gauge.
This specialized tactical model features a durable black anodized receiver outfitted with a top Picatinny rail for optics and a HiViz fiber-optic front sight for rapid target acquisition. Designed for extreme environments, its internal components are plated in nickel-Teflon to provide maximum corrosion resistance. It comes standard with an extended magazine tube, enhanced controls like an oversized bolt release button for easy manipulation while wearing gloves, and a barrel-clamp side rail setup for flashlight or laser integration.
