The Remington 700 in .350 Remington Magnum is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered for a short, powerful .35-caliber belted cartridge. Introduced by Remington in 1965, the .350 Mag was initially designed for the lightweight Remington 600 carbine. Because it was a "short-action" magnum, Remington occasionally chambered this hard-hitting, big-game round in their flagship Model 700—notably in the Model 700 Classic series.
