The Marlin 336SC (Sporting Carbine) in .35 Remington is a classic, lightweight lever-action rifle prized for its fast handling and hard-hitting performance on deer and bear in dense timber. Manufactured primarily from the late 1940s until 1962, it features a 20-inch barrel, a straight-grip walnut stock, and a 2/3 length magazine tube Caliber: .35 Remington (a heavy, slow-moving brush cartridge). Magazine Capacity: 5 or 6 rounds (tubular). Stock & Forend: Straight-grip walnut (unlike the pistol-grip 336C). Barrel Length: 20 inches.
