Description:
The Ruger M77 Hawkeye is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7x57mm Mauser. It features a 22-inch tapered barrel and a gloss blued finish. The rifle uses a magazine-fed system and incorporates Ruger’s tang-mounted safety. The receiver and barrel are matched to a custom Boyd’s laminated wood thumbhole stock with a vented forend. A soft rubber recoil pad is fitted to the buttstock, and the rifle includes a hinged floorplate for magazine access. The serial number is 775-61785, and production dates to 1981.
This M77 Hawkeye is used. The bore is described as excellent, showing strong rifling. Metal surfaces retain an even blued finish with only light handling wear noted.
