THIS FOWLING SHOTGUN APPEARS TO HAVE A 1816 MILITARY MUSKET BARREL AND WAS REASSEMBLED AS A FOWLER SHOTGUN PRIOR TO THE CIVIL WAR. IT IS ABOUT 57" OVERALL. THE CONVERSION IS PRETTY WELL DONE SPORTING A BRASS BUTTPLATE & TRIGGER GUARD. VERY INTERESTING GUN THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT ON DISPLAY or OVER THE MANTEL AND LIKELY COULD BE RETURNED TO SERVICE IF WANTED, AS PICTURED. QUESTIONS JUST ASK.
