Description:
This is a well used M1905E1 also known as the M1 bayonet after it was approved in 1943. The sharpened blade has a light nick or two with a nice tip. Blade is marked "PAL US 1942, Flaming Bomb" and on the reverse "W.C.-MOD" also HS on the spine. This bayonet features a blade that is approx 10" length, as this was cut down from an original 16" length by the Pal Blade Co. One of the grips is cracked and they are both loose. There is light oxidation on the guard and pommel. This includes the original M7 Scabbard in good faded condition.;
