Late Victorian or Edwardian slider watch chain — the classic Albert pocket-watch chain. The style was popular roughly from the 1880s through the early 1900s.
The chains are multi-strand snake/foxtail and box-link styles, alternating, which is a hallmark of higher-quality period pieces.
The end cap looks slightly worn but consistent with silver plate over a base metal
The slider itself has detailed stamped engraving along the edges, which is typical of late Victorian decorative work.
No makers marks or hallmarks and measures 9 inches from clasp to bar.
