The Egyptian Maadi RML is one of the more uncommon AK-pattern imports to reach the U.S. market, built by the legendary Maadi Company at Factory 54 and patterned after the Soviet AKM. Unlike the standard 16-inch military configuration, the RML utilizes a factory long-barrel export configuration developed for commercial import. It delivers the rugged reliability the AK platform is known for while offering a unique configuration seldom encountered on today's market.
Built around the proven long-stroke gas piston operating system, the RML maintains the legendary dependability that made the Kalashnikov famous worldwide. Chambered in 7.62×39mm, it feeds from standard AK-pattern magazines and features a stamped steel receiver with traditional military-style controls.
