Description:
The Browning BPS Field is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun built on a steel receiver with a 28-inch barrel. It features a 3½-inch chamber compatible with 2¾-, 3-, and 3½-inch shells. The barrel uses the Invector Plus choke system and is configured with a high vent rib for sight alignment. The shotgun has a tube magazine with a standard capacity of five rounds. The finish is a high-gloss blued steel paired with a checkered wood stock and forend, both shaped in a pistol-grip profile.
This BPS Field is used. The bore condition is noted as excellent, with a clean, bright interior surface. The metal retains a high percentage of its original blued finish, with small specks of early surface rust visible on the right side of the receiver. The wood components are solid, free of cracks or structural damage, showing light dings and handling marks consistent with regular use. Functional features include a tang-mounted safety, gold-plated trigger, and a soft rubber recoil pad fitted to the buttstock.
Included is the installed Invector improved cylinder choke in the bore. The shotgun’s configuration reflects Browning’s standard Field model layout with matted receiver surfaces and vent rib barrel.
