This Beretta 92FS America's Defender Limited Edition commemorates the first decade of U.S. military service of the M9 pistol from 1985 through 1995. Built on the proven 92FS platform, this special edition features distinctive gold-filled military rollmarks representing all four branches of the United States Armed Forces along with commemorative inscriptions on both sides of the slide. This example remains in like new condition and includes its matching factory hard case and original serial-numbered outer box, making it especially desirable to Beretta collectors.
The full-size steel Inox slide rides on a forged aluminum alloy frame, delivering the smooth cycling and outstanding reliability that made the Beretta 92 series famous worldwide. Its locking-block short recoil system produces exceptionally soft recoil and excellent practical accuracy. The crisp single-action trigger and smooth double-action pull make it equally enjoyable on the range or as part of a military handgun collection.
Ergonomics remain one of the strongest features of the classic 92FS design. Ambidextrous safety-decocking levers, a reversible magazine release, generous trigger guard, and comfortable factory polymer grips make the pistol easy to operate for a wide range of shooters. The open-slide design also contributes to legendary feeding reliability while minimizing the chance of stovepipe malfunctions.
Chambered in 9mm, the pistol offers excellent shootability with a standard 15-round magazine capacity.
