Description:
The Enfield No. 4 Mk I is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .303 British. This example was produced at the Long Branch factory and features a 25-inch barrel with an excellent bore. The rifle retains its military-style finish and configuration, including the matching bolt numbered to the receiver. It is built on the standard No. 4 pattern with a rear receiver-mounted peep sight and full-length wood furniture typical of wartime production. The stock has a pistol grip profile with an upper handguard and buttstock fitted with the factory trapdoor compartment.
This rifle is used and shows the characteristics of a service-pattern Enfield with its original finish and markings. The barrel bears an import stamp from Century Arms International (CAI). The adjustable rear sight provides elevation control for the .303 British cartridge, and the bolt-action mechanism follows the standard Lee–Enfield design with rear locking lugs and a detachable magazine system. The bore condition is described as excellent, indicating clean rifling suitable for inspection or collection purposes.
Included with the rifle is the complete wood stock assembly, metal hardware, and matching bolt. No additional accessories or packaging are specified.
