Available for sale is a sporterized Arisaka Type 38 bolt-action rifle fitted with a walnut stock and variable-power scope. Originally manufactured as a Japanese military rifle, this example has been modified from its original military configuration for sporting use.
The rifle features a shortened sporting stock, aftermarket scope mount and scope, and retains military-style iron sights. THERE IS NO BOLT WITH THIS GUN!
This rifle appears to be a sporterized Arisaka Type 38 military surplus rifle. Due to the number of Type 38 rifles that were converted and rechambered after importation into the United States, buyers are strongly encouraged to verify chambering and have the firearm inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing.
