Selling out of my personal collection a very significant war gun, a Colt 1911a1 Parkerized with RS (Robert Sears) inspection marks. It includes a super rare Expeditionary Boyt holster with a date of 1941. The holster is more rare than the gun. There was only 500 ever produced and only a small amount known to have survived. If you are a hardcore Colt collector, then you know what you looking at.
The gun is complete with matching serials on frame and slide.
It comes with the archive letter stating it was shipped on October 20th 1941, that’s 6 weeks and 6 days before the Pearl Harbor attack.
