For those of you not familiar with the high quality of these beautiful guns, Armas Garbi is a bespoke, "best-quality" gunmaker out of the Basque region of Spain. William Larkin Moore has been their importer for decades and can attest to their high quality and durability. They are widely regarded as one of the top two finest makers to ever come out of Spain. While many Spanish makers produced "volume" guns, Garbi remained a low-output, high-perfection workshop, focusing on traditional English designs that defined the golden age of gunmaking. To find a 51B in this 100% as-new condition is to own a rare piece of that elite Basque heritage.

The 26-inch barrels are perfectly struck and finished in a deep, lustrous Rust blue and they chime like church bells!! They are choked Improved Cylinder and Modified—the perfect configuration for the upland hunter. The action is adorned with a relief hand engraved acanthus scroll and design engraving, executed with the precision and depth that defined Garbi's most meticulous era of production.
