Rogers started sculpting table top statues from 1859 to the late 1890's at his studio in New York City.  During this time into the Victorian period Rogers Groups were very popular. President Lincoln had several in the White House. General Custer had 2 on his desk while traveling in the plains. General Grant had 1 in his parlor. ......This collection totals 38 pieces. With only 14 listing photos it's impossible for me to show everything. So here are the highlights:  5 Council of Wars with variants A,B,C each included, 3 different Victorian Pedestal Bases for display purposes, 7 One More Shots, Mailday, Fugitive Story, Challenging the Union Vote, Lincoln oil lamp, Charles Summer rare statue, early Rogers works Checkers and Schoolmaster, Picket Guard, 2 Traveling Magician(extremely rare Magic collectable) plus others totally 38 statues&pedestals. This is perfect for the Civil War enthusiast, Lincoln collector, start up museum. This listing is pick-up COD only in Shrewsbury,Massachusetts with signature by the buyer required after inspecting collection acknowledging listing is fairly descibed and buyer is happy with the transaction. Remember this collection is over 150 years old so there will be imperfections and repainted examples.
