Description:
The SAR9 SOCOM is a full size 9 mm polymer framed, striker fired pistol built for tactical, home defense, & duty use. The slide incorporates cooling channels (lightening cuts) forward to help heat dissipation during rapid fire, and includes an optics plate, so mini red dots can be mounted. The frame is equipped with interchangeable backstraps & side plates (small, medium, large) to customize grip fit, an integral flared magazine well to speed reloads, an aggressive front underlug Picatinny rail for accessories, and night sights. Controls are modern and ergonomic: large easy to reach mag release, recessed slide lock, dual captured recoil spring, and a flat trigger that enhances trigger control. In performance terms, the SAR9 SOCOM offers a generous 17+1 capacity with the standard double stack magazine (a 20-round extended option is available). At 28.8-29.8 ounces empty, it doesn't feel overly front heavy, especially with proper grip and when firing. Users praise the shootability out of the box: clean trigger breaks, solid accuracy at typical defensive ranges.
