S&W released its 952 series through the Performance Center in 2000, billing the gun as "the most accurate 9mm in the world". Total production has been cited at 1,735 pistols. This example, a 952-1, has the usual 5" barrel, drift adjustable front sight, and fully adjustable Wilson Combat rear sight. Left side of slide marked Performance Center.
