Description:
1948 production Winchester 21 trap grade 12 gauge ejectors and 32" barrels, factory ventilated rib with factory letter. Installed on the gun is a beautiful buttstock, made from wood typical of a model 21 with a winchester pad and the 'W" on a checkered pripcap which examples can be seen in Schwing's Model 21 book, however there is no serial number stamped on the inside of the wrist underneath the trigger guard. The stock on the gun has the followin dimensiton 14 5/8 LOP, 1 1/2 DAH and 1 3/8 DAC. There is no record of this stock being made in addition to the original, but it was made very well. The other stock is the serialized original stock and it has 1 inch kickeze pad installed, its dimensions are 14 1/2 LOP to the end of the pad, 1 7/8 DAH and 1 3/8 DAC. The wood is stunning on both stocks as with most later 21s. So it comes with two great stocks, both have fine finishes. There some handling marks on the gun, but no serious sratches or gouges in the wood.. The metal is in great shape and the gun has been professionally reblued sometime in its life. Briley thin walled chokes were installed (SKT,IC, LM, M, and full) and makes this shotgun very flexible for the range or the field. The gun is in very good overall condition. The trigger and selector work fine and the ejectors are crisp. $75 addtional witll be charged toward shipping and insurance.
