Description:
This is a Winchester Model 70 in .225 Winchester made in 1965 and is in very good condition. My dad bought it from a friend of his for my 14th birthday. I've had it since 1978. The Leupold Vari x II, 3x9-40 has been on it the entire time. I believe it was the only optic ever mounted on it. The open sights are the factory originals that I believe were made by Williams. It was always a very accurate rifle with the Winchester Super X 55 grain factory ammo. I never reloaded for it but several years ago I did buy a 250 count bag of new Winchester Super X brass in case I did. Those will come with the rifle. Please add 60.00 for shipping as I will pay for approximately half. I will only accept United States Postal Service money orders, personal check or certified check which will have to clear before shipment. I can get the Postal Service money orders cleared more quickly.
