The Colt Police Positive Special was a Standard Issue Sidearm for Royal Hong Kong Police, noted by the insignia stamped into the backstrap. This piece appears to be initially chambered for the .38 Colt New Police (.38 S&W) Caliber, then rebarreled for .38 Special. The previous owners claimed to have fired .38 Special Cartridges in it with no issue. .38 Colt
