Description:
Own an original! Collectors dream! For sale is a super rare original Boberg XR9 S, chambered in 9mm with 3.25" barrel. It's double-action only, hammer-fired semi-auto handgun designed for discreet concealed carry. It features a rotating barrel locked breech and reverse feeding system unlike any other sub-compact pistols. The handgun has an anodized aircraft aluminum frame paired with a stainless steel slide. The XR9 magazine is positioned under the barrel so cartridges are pulled from the magazine, and lifted to chamber height before they are pushed by the slide into the barrel chamber. The positioning of the magazine and loading sequence are the design features that allow the XR9 to have the longest barrel of any handgun of similar overall length. A passive firing pin safety blocks the movement of the firing pin until the trigger is pulled.
The gun is in excellent condition. Metal and grips are about 99%, barrel is excellent. Sale includes Two original 7rd, single stack magazines, safety lock, original box, manual and brand new De Santis pocket holster. This gun is from my personal collection and had about 200 rds through it. It will make a great addition to any collection and can be used for concealed carry too. This is the smallest 9mm handgun I ever seen.
