(62259) This custom Weatherby Vanguard combines the proven Vanguard push-feed action with premium aftermarket upgrades. The rifle features a classic Monte Carlo walnut stock with cut checkering, providing the traditional Weatherby look while promoting proper cheek alignment for scoped shooting. 13 5/8-inch length of pull, sling swivel studs.
The action utilizes Weatherby's reliable two-position safety mounted on the right rear of the receiver and is drilled and tapped for optics. This rifle is fitted with a one-piece Leupold scope base and 30mm rings, providing a strong, rigid mounting platform for modern optics.
A major upgrade is the 26-inch stainless steel custom barrel manufactured by McCullough Rifle Co. The longer barrel maximizes velocity, particularly with magnum cartridges, while the stainless construction offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
