Description:
This .44 caliber Filli Pietta 1851 Colt Navy has a blued octagon 7-1/2” barrel with a color case hardened frame and loading lever. The bore is good with sharp rifling. The cylinder is roll-engraved with a Naval scene and “Patent No” in a banner. Complete with Walnut grips and brass backstrap. Please Note: A deep scratch in the metal action above and to the right of the wedge screw is seen. Most likely caused by a slip of the screwdriver when attempting to loosen the wedge screw. Overall length is 13”, Weight is 2.12 lbs. Factory wood to metal fit. Made by Filli Pietta. Condition: Good.
