Offered for your consideration is a very fine correct and untouched Marlin Model 1897 deluxe born 1902. The rifle shows in good overall condition (light handling marks on stock) still displaying some color on the receiver blended with brown patina throughout. Bore is very good and the rifle functions as it should. This beautiful special order Marlin has some very unique characteristics and would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
Stock shows one small area at toe that appears to have had some wood slightly pulled up perhaps from setting it down. The wood was glued back down. The area is barely noticeable. See pictures.
