Description:
1895 Winchester in 405 Winchester. This is a commemorative of the Boone and Crockett Club "Big Game Records Keeping" that Theodore Roosevelt founded in 1887. It's number 29 of 100 with a 24" barrel. The front sight is a brass-beaded blade with a serrated rear face pined to a base on the barrel. The rear sight is a dovetailed U-notch semi-buckhorn elevator sight. The finish is a brushed nickel with engraved game scenes, scroll boarders, and gold accents. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a schnabel forend, straight grip, straight comb, and a slightly curved smooth steel buttplate. This gun remains in as new condition.
