Description:
Colt Official Police revolver made 1937, blued with 6-shot cylinder and 6" barrel, caliber .22 LR, SN: 12317, fitted with King Super Target sights. Rib marked “COLT-KING SUPER TARGET” (left) with King patent markings near the muzzle (right), red front sight insert, and distinctive small mirror/reflector to brighten the sight picture. Left side of barrel marked “COLT OFFICIAL POLICE .22 LONG RIFLE.” Matching serial number on frame and crane. Checkered hammer spur and trigger face, checkered/unnumbered silver medallion Colt grips.
Condition:
VG original blue, verified proof on left side of frame having broken through the blue, with scattered handling marks, light high-edge wear, visible cylinder turn line, and areas of thinning/age-related discoloration in usual areas of contact. King Super Target rib and sight with clear markings, bright red front sight insert, and front sight mirror/reflector intact. Checkered hammer and trigger with comparable operational wear. Near EXC grips with sharp checkering. Near mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
