Introduced in 2014, it remains the smallest handgun Glock has ever produced. It is designed specifically for deep concealment, pocket carry, and backup use. Unlike many snappy pocket-sized .380 pistols, the G42's locked-breech design and slightly larger frame absorb recoil exceptionally well, making it highly controllable.
