Description:
The Tisas Stakeout 9 and 38 are modern incarnations of the classic 1911 design, drawing heavily from the Duty and Tank Commander models for a mix of contemporary flair and military robustness. These pistols feature a snag-free design with rounded elements such as an enhanced A1 style sights and a rounded spur hammer to enhance usability. The A1 service safety and extended beavertail grip safety are specifically tailored to prevent hammer-bite and allow a higher grip, enhancing control and comfort during firing. Constructed with a forged carbon steel frame and slide, the Stakeout models exemplify durability. They come in both 9mm and .38 calibers with a 5" barrel that's both forged and machined, equipped with button rifling for precise accuracy. The internals follow the Colt Series 70 design, known for its reliability and straightforward maintenance. Visual enhancements include Turkish walnut grips and a QPQ Tenifer finish on the frame and slide for superior resistance to corrosion and wear.
