A Very Scarce, Early, & Large Circa Early 1700's Ornate European Silver Mounted With A Raised Chiseled Barrel, Lock, & Hammer Flintlock Pistol In Excellent Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The pistol has fine metal throughout. The barrel. lock. & hammer are all heavily silver chiseled throughout & very ornated as shown in the photos. This includes faces, figures, symbols,and heavy scroll engraving. The rear escutcheon, large engraved heavy ball butt cap, very fancy back plate finials and areas of the trigger guard are all very ornate and are made of silver, The original stock is fine throughout with wonderful ornate raised carving from the rear of the barrel to the silver escutchean on the back of the wood stock. The ramrod is original. The pistol measures 21 1/2 inches in length, and the barrel is 14 1/2 inches long. The bore is 5/8 inches in diameter. It has a very nice action and bore. This Is A Very Scarce, Early, And Large 1700's Ornate European Silver Mounted Pistol In Fine Untouched Condition That Would be A Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Collection!
