Victorian era sword cane with 16th century rapier blade. Blade was forged in Toledo Spain by famous swordsmith Tomas Aiala. His signature is stamped by hand in the fuller and is consistent with other historic examples of his signature which were done by hand with the use of a chisel. The handle and the shaft are both made of wood, the handle has a bone collar , the sword is friction fit into the shaft and holds in place pretty well..If you're interested in this piece, my phone number is in the contact information if you need more information or pictures just call.
