An Early & Scarce Civil War Peacock On A Pedestal With Crossed Pistols Powder Flask For A Colt Percussion Root Revolver In Untouched & All Original Condition. All original throughout. The scarce flask has a nice untouched look to it. These Peacock Flasks were mostly used with the Colt Root Revolvers and were often cased. They were very ornate as Sam Colt wanted them to look special in a case with the Root Revolver. The flask has a nice body with a couple of small dings in it. It has good seams & the correct working spout on it. It still retains most of its original brown lacquer on it. This Is A Nice untouched Example Of An Early & Scarce Civil War Peacock On A Pedestal With Crossed Pistols Powder Flask For A Colt Percussion Root Revolver!
