Manufactured circa 2004, this stainless steel J-Frame combines the strength to fire full power .357 Magnum ammunition with the classic Bodyguard design featuring a partially shrouded hammer for both double-action carry and single-action precision.
This example features the desirable 2-inch barrel, original factory rubber grips, fixed rear notch sight, and front ramp sight. Built on Smith & Wesson's proven stainless-steel frame, the Model 649 has earned a reputation as one of the finest compact defensive revolvers ever produced, offering excellent durability, reliability, and concealability.
Condition is best described as as new. The revolver retains an outstanding original stainless finish with virtually no evidence of handling or use. The bore is bright, the cylinder is clean, and the action is smooth in both double-action and single-action operation.
