Offered for sale is an exceptional Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 Combat Magnum chambered in .357 Magnum, manufactured circa 1978. This highly desirable pinned-barrel and recessed-cylinder revolver represents one of the finest examples of Smith & Wesson's classic K-Frame Magnum revolvers and remains a favorite among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This outstanding example features the sought-after 2½-inch barrel, original factory rubber grips, fully adjustable rear sight with white outline, and a serrated front ramp sight with orange insert. The Model 19 earned its legendary reputation by combining superb balance, outstanding accuracy, and the smooth double-action trigger that made Smith & Wesson revolvers famous.
Condition is best described as as new. The revolver retains an outstanding original blue finish with virtually no evidence of handling or use. The factory markings remain crisp, the bore is bright, and the action is exceptionally smooth in both double-action and single-action operation. Examples in this remarkable state of preservation have become increasingly difficult to locate.
