Manufactured circa 1952, this lightweight alloy-frame revolver represents one of Colt's most successful post-war concealed carry revolvers and remains highly sought after by collectors for its classic styling, exceptional craftsmanship, and smooth Colt action.
This example is presented in as new condition, retaining an excellent original Colt blue finish with sharp factory markings and beautiful factory checkered walnut stocks featuring silver Colt medallions. It is fitted with the correct 2-inch barrel, fixed rear sight, and serrated ramp front sight. The revolver exhibits the smooth double-action pull and crisp single-action break that made Colt's D-frame revolvers legendary.
Early Colt Cobras from the 1950s have become increasingly difficult to locate in this exceptional condition, making this an excellent opportunity for the Colt collector or enthusiast seeking an original example.
