Description: Remington 1100 12 GA Magnum Shotgun Summer Special C.1970-80s Offered here and just acquired is a very good Remington 1100 shotgun ready to take out to the field. It has a 26" barrel and 3" chamber. Serial number P132122M.  factory matte grey finish.  Vent rib. Factory checkering. In very good solid shape but with some use marks overall particularly left side of buttstock where there is a patch of "crazing"/scratches in wood from improper handling. But should not affect operating it. Standard 2¾-inch Model 1100s have a "V" suffix, while the Magnum models end in "M." From the serial number format and configuration we  estimate it is probably from the 1970s to early 1980s, which is when many of the 12-gauge Magnum hunting models with 26-inch vent rib barrels were produced.
