Colt pocket Dragoon with rammer serial number 12202 has desirable six inch barrel.The gun has good bore with some pitting but sharp lands and groves much better than usually found on these guns.mechanics work well and markings are good with grips exhibiting original.varnish.The barrel is correctly marked with the two line New York Address and the loading lever appears to have come from another revolver of the same period with factory engraving! This scarce and desirable piece shows evidence of use ,however the gun and accessories look to have been cared for.The trigger guard and back strap still retain generous amount of original silver plating.
