Description:
This is an excellent example of an original Walther P38 WWII German Army pistol, chambered in 9mm Para, made at the Mauser factory in 1943 and coded BYF43. It is a first variation 3- digit serial gun that retains about 97% of its original "dusty " blue finish that was only present on early 1943 made guns. It has minimal holster wear to the blue and is one of the best examples of this variation that I could ever find.
It is all matching, including the locking block which is correctly "in the white" as these were left unblued on original condition guns. Excellent bore. Fully functioning decocker . Excellent grips without defects.
All in all, a super nice example of a German Army WWII pistol.
