Bar Lock Single Shot Waterfowler The Damascus barrel is 42" long with a brass bead at the muzzle, A Platinum vented blow-out at the Percussion nipple, The trigger guard bow and the trigger guard tang are engraved, A horn forend tip, A cross wedge tiedown to secure the forend and barrel, It has an original 41 1/2" Ebony ramrod with a brass head and a brass tail that is held by two pipes on the large rib under the barrel, Extremely solid and sound wood with some color and contrast, No cheekpiece, No sling eyes, A vacant nickel silver escutcheon behind the top tang, Stock length at 13 3/4" over a steel uncheckered buttplate with a 4 1/2" tail at the heel of the stock, Very slight cast-off for the right hand, It has the proper butt depth from heel to toe at 6 1/4" with width being 2 1/8", This shoulder waterfowler comes out at 14 lbs. 10 oz., The checkering is nearly as sharp as the day it was cut, No pits in the bore, It points well with ideal drop at the comb and the heel. This piece remains original, very solid and is in exceptional condition for a piece from a bygone era. I believe it can be loaded with about a pound of Black Powder and about a 1/4 pound of Shot. This miniature cannon points extremely well from the shoulder and could be the ideal tool to take out all your neighbors Muscovy Ducks that crap all over your backyard pond.
Here is another mark relative the Barack Hussein Obama/ Joe Biden/ Kamala Harris/ Al Gore/ Leonardo DiCaprio/ AOC/ Pocahontas & John Kerry (All Progressive Loo-zers) scale of Earth friendly guns. When shooting this turbocharged gun, the National Climate Assessment group is convinced this piece is a climate changer. This gun has a serious climate problem and is not carbon neutral, it is not Earth friendly as it will emit a lot of greenhouse gases, nitrous oxide, methane, carbon dioxide and will leave a large trailing cloud of carbon. We need to transition from shooting these shoulder held cannons. We must go to low-flow shower heads, put bricks in the toilet tank, put water barrels in your yard, shut off pipeline valves, quit driving a private car, buy an electric bike, peddle a bike to generate home electricity, use your teeth to clean your shoes, get Santa to switch to an electric sleigh, demand the Army to switch to plug-in tanks and many other measures to offset this 4 Bore greenhouse gas emissions. Shooting this piece has a variety of climate effects and can add to global surface temperature for several years. Shooting these big bores is becoming a real problem.
