"Serial number 2747. Made in 1848. 31 caliber with a 4" barrel. This is a an early gun! The metal has a dark gray patina. The metal has lots of nicks and dings where this gun was used as a hammer numerous times. The grips are very good. The trigger guard and back strap still have original silver. This gun has matching numbers.
