Weatherby mark v 6 lug action chambered in 338-06 A- square.
I purchased this rifle with a bad chamber. After a search I found a new Weatherby surplus barrel chambered in 338-06. I think this was the same barrel that came on the ultra lightweight rifle that was made back when Weatherby chambered for the 338-06. I had my gun Smith switch out the barrels, install one or his muzzle brakes and polish the chamber. Turned out very nice and the stock fit perfectly. Only shot a few times to ensure that everything functions as it should. This is a powerful light weight rifle (6.06 lb.)
The rifle originally came from the Sheridan Wyoming plant. The only thing that was changed was the barrel. This one had one of the better fiberglass stocks and the trigger tech trigger. The bipod is not included in the sale.
