This example is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and features a 6-shot, 6-inch heavy barrel with an underlug ejector rod shroud, rich blued finish, fully adjustable target sights, factory checkered walnut target grips with gold Colt medallions, and a smooth double-action/single-action trigger. The Trooper MK III is widely respected for its outstanding accuracy, making it equally desirable to collectors and target shooters. A scarce rimfire variant of the Mark III series, it remains one of Colt's most collectible post-war double-action revolvers.
