Reproduction Brown Bess New Land Pattern Light Infantry musket, serial number A254. Has London proof marks, crown over BP on barrel and breach plug. Side of barrel incribed with: "6.5 GRAMS BP 36 GRAMS SHOT".
The New Land Pattern musket was used in the War of 1812 and later in the Texas Revolution at the Alamo by the Mexican Army. This musket is in very good condition and I do not think it has been fired very much.
