A GREAT S&W FIND! LIKE NEW, ONE OF THE VERY LAST OF THE DEPRESSION ERA BLUE FINISH .32 SAFETY HAMMERLESS 3rd MODEL REVOLVER, #2426XX WITH THE FINAL MADE #242981 IN 1937. This model was made from 1909-1937 with most seeming to be in nickel finish. This 3” blued example appears to be almost new inside and out. The blue is mirror bright and the case color on the trigger is vivid. Even opening the revolver takes effort as it is still stiff and not broken in! One would have to look carefully to find perhaps the tiniest mark on the cylinder or scratch on the bottom of a grip. Remarkable that a 90 year old revolver like this remained in this condition all these decades. Just needs a box. (NOTE: any light spots on the photos are just light reflection)
