This Soviet Carbine Model 1891/59, chambered in 7.62x54R, is a bolt-action rifle with a 20.5-inch barrel and an internal capacity of 5. This rifle is a converted Mosin-Nagant that was refurbished by the Soviet Union at the Izhevsk Arsenal around 1959–1960. No extras are included with the sale of this firearm. The rifle remains in very good condition. As a scarce Soviet arsenal conversion, the Model 1891/59 offers unique historical significance and is an especially desirable addition for collectors of Cold War and Mosin-Nagant military firearms.
