Description:
The Mauser M937A Portuguese Contract is a highly collectible military surplus rifle manufactured by Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf A.N. in Germany. It was built under a special contract for the Portuguese military. It is a rare, premium variation of the iconic German Karabiner 98k (Kar98k). Because these rifles were delivered to Portugal rather than being deployed on the Eastern Front, they bypassed heavy combat. Consequently, they survived the war in much better condition than standard German-issued Wehrmacht rifles. This rifle is in very good to excellent surplus condition with all matching serial numbers. Bottom of barrel is import stamped. 8mm Mauser
