Description:
1897 Winchester Pump Shotgun Takedown with special ordered 26" and cyc choke marked. 16 gauge. Serial number 370081 manufactured in 1908. Matching serial numbers on barrel / frame. Receiver, barrel, and tube retain a gray / brown patina with some original blue in areas. Functions properly. Both forend and Buttstock are in fair condition. Buttstock has been sanded and has a repaired area on the upper left side of wrist area. Good markings. Decent bore I will rate a 6.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Correct buttplate that has a couple of cracks. There are areas of dried grease / old varnish present. This shotgun could use a good cleaning. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other firearm should be checked first by a licensed gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it.
