Description:
Beautiful Gough engraved Fox DE Grade 12ga built with 28" Krupp Steel barrels. Splinter forend is beautifully checkered with original ebony tip and engraved latch & iron. Frame is wonderfully full coverage floral scroll and game scene engraved. Capped pistol grip buttstock is very nicely figured and checkered and terminates with an aging leather faced Silvers type recoil pad. Gun matches the factory production card as configured today.
This fine Fox remains in excellent condition. Barrels with about 97% blue remaining. Frame with crisp original engraving and traces of original color. Stocks are excellent and sound with minor handling marks and excellent finishes. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
