A Remington Model 1917 Rifle chambered in .358 Norma Magnum with a 22" barrel is a highly specialized, heavy-hitting "sporterized" custom hunting rifle. This firearm did not leave the Remington factory in this configuration. Instead, it began its life during World War I as a military-issue U.S. M1917 Enfield chambered in .30-06 with a 26-inch barrel.
